The Standing Municipal Facilities Committee (S.M.F.C.) will be hosting an open tour of the Lura Libby Facility at 5 p.m. on Monday, October 1st.
There will be an Informational Meeting held by the Thomaston Select Board in collaboration with the S.M.F.C. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the former Lura Libby School, 13 Valley Street, Thomaston, Maine, to present the proposal for the Municipal Facility Project at Lura Libby. This project is for the relocation of the Town Offices, Recreation Department, Food Pantry, and the Police Department at a cost of $1,092,059.
Public Hearings are to follow the Informational Meeting at 7 p.m. to discuss articles on the referendum ballot.
Both the Informational Meeting and Public Hearings are in in preparation for the Municipal Referendum Ballot vote to coincide with the State of Maine General Referendum Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 10 Watts Lane, Thomaston, Maine.
